With the busy summer season seemingly charging ahead at full steam, it's been tricky to find time to write a blog post in recent weeks. However, we have been having lots of fun, continuing to delight audiences with our summery tunes and bringing a touch of the Caribbean to local events. From jubilee celebrations to school fetes and tiki-themed parties, as well as the usual run of weddings, it is wonderfully hectic and we are loving every second of it!
The rest of the summer looks equally busy too, with no free weekends in our calendar now until mid/late September. Between now and then, we have two more trips to look forward to - one with our community band playing at Swanage Carnival and another for a private party near Wareham. We'll also be returning to Knoll Farm, a lovely campsite in the Dorset countryside, to play on their acoustic stage and enjoy some more of their delicious vegan pizzas.
Elsewhere, enquiries continue to flow steadily in for 2023/24, so we are delighted that our duo looks set to continue to grow and flourish over the next few years. It's a fantastically exciting prospect that we could one day turn our much-loved hobby into a steady source of income and share the joy, fun and friendship that we have found through music with many others. We'll post again sometime in August to keep you updated and let you know what our plans are for the Autumn. Stay safe and enjoy the beautiful summer sunshine everyone!
