These last few months have been a hive of activity! Since May, our weekends have been fully booked with weddings, camping trips and carnivals with our community band. Each experience has been wonderful and we have received so much positive feedback from brides and grooms, as well as their guests. With a few last-minute bookings, our diary is now chock-a-block for September too! It really feels like our duo has made fantastic progress this year, and we are both extremely excited to see what the future will bring.
Set-wise, we've managed to secure two new Disney songs into our playlist this summer - 'Kiss the girl' and the long-awaited 'Under the sea'. Its been a challenge to arrange such a big and busy song to work within the confines of our duo, however we feel that by keeping things simple, we've managed to strike a good balance and we can't wait to share it with you!
Looking ahead, it seems incredible to say that we'll soon be starting to think about our Christmas tunes and getting festive gigs booked in the diary... we already have a couple penciled in! We'll both be taking a short break to reflect, recharge and start planning for the festivities towards the end of September, but will be back out busking (weather permitting) in October.
