April 2021 - Busks are back and business is booming!

With the sun shining brightly and lockdown restrictions lifted further, we are delighted to once again be back out busking in the community and raising money for local charities. With the wedding industry also looking set to open its doors to larger gatherings soon, it seems that couples are feeling more confident in making plans, as we have had another busy month for enquiries and bookings! Like so many others, we are very excited about the end of lockdown approaching and can't wait to share the celebrations of special days with the brides and grooms.

Until then, we will continue to rehearse weekly at a local green space in Clymping, where we are currently learning and arranging new tunes to add to our set. On the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, we are also hoping to participate in the #CaptainTom100 challenge to raise money for local Children's Hospice, #ChestnutTreeHouse. We will be performing songs from our set for 100 minutes at West Park in Aldwick, Bognor, so why not come along to show your support and enjoy the blissful sounds of steel pan in the sunshine? You might even be forgiven in thinking that you had been transported to the Caribbean if the weather forecast is anything to go by!
