DECEMBER 2020
This month is all about community. With the festive spirit in the air, we are doing lots of busks to help support local businesses. From late night shopping in Rustington, to joining in the Arundel is Christmas pop ups around town, we are certainly spreading a as much Christmas cheer as we can! We also have a carol service at Findon Manor to look forward to, as well as a festive performance for The Waverley on Bognor Regis seafront. It's been a challenging year, but we feel so blessed to have been able to keep performing and practising together as much as we have. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us and wish you all a Merry Christmas.
NOVEMBER 2020
With weddings and gatherings now firmly on hold as the UK enters another lockdown, we are making the most of this time to polish up our Christmas set and plan which songs we will learn in the new year - we have loads lined up! Despite the changeable weather, we are still performing as often as we can by finding sheltered spots to busk in. OCTOBER 2020
With Autumn having very much arrived in West Sussex, we have started to learn more classic carols and songs for our Christmas set, including 'Deck the Halls' and 'We wish you a Merry Christmas'. Performance wise, we are still making the most of the dry weather and going out busking whenever and wherever we can, trying to bring a bit of cheer to others as we face the prospect of another potential lockdown. We have visited West Park in Bognor, Arundel and will be performing in Littlehampton at the Halloween / Bonfire themed market on Saturday 31st, so why not come and enjoy our cheerful tunes and bag yourself a bargain at the same time?
SEPTEMBER 2020
This month we were delighted to perform at the Crockstead Fields wedding fayre, and launch two of our brand new video recordings online. With the tightening of restrictions once again causing parties to be postponed, things are still a little quiet on the gig front, but we are making the most of this time to plan ahead for Christmas and 2021. Whether we end up performing virtually or out in the community, we have lots of new tunes lined up to share with you and hopefully bring some festive cheer to what has been a strange and unpredictable year!

AUGUST 2020
With weddings and large gatherings still somewhat limited by social distancing restrictions, our diary is very quiet for this time of year. Having said that, we are still going out busking as often as we can and using this time to continue learning new songs for our set. With the Snow Patrol Medley now polished, we will soon be adding 'Up' by Olly Murs and Demi Lovato to our regular playlist too. With the Sussex NHS and Carers Wedding Competition now closed, we will be joining the other suppliers on Friday 21st August as the winner is revealed live on BBC radio Sussex - make sure you tune in!
JULY 2020
As people of the UK start to embrace 'a new normal' and lockdown restrictions are eased further, we are thrilled to be able to start rehearsing together at home again. We have lots of new songs lined up to learn, which will be perfect for weddings, including a Snow Patrol medley and many more foot-tapping classics! This month we also have our first private gig of the season, which is very exciting as we have greatly missed these over the past fourteen weeks! You may also see us out and about, particularly in Arundel or Bognor, as we continue to promote the Sussex NHS and carers wedding competition, so come and say 'hello' and enjoy listening to our chilled out tunes in the summer sunshine.
JUNE 2020
This month we are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with other local suppliers to support the Sussex NHS and Carers wedding competition. This fantastic competition launched on 1st June is giving one lucky couple the chance to win the wedding of their dreams in 2021, worth up to £30,000! So if you or someone you know is a beautiful bride (or groom) to be and works as a carer or for the NHS, why not share the news? MAY 2020
With the slight relaxation of social distancing measures and beautiful warm weather, we have finally been able to meet up and have our first rehearsal since before lockdown began. With large gatherings looking unlikely for the forseeable future, we may not be able to perform at any events this summer, but we hope to be able to bring our joyful sounds to the towns of West Sussex by busking as often as we can instead... we'll keep you posted.
APRIL 2020
With the Coronavirus pandemic temporarily putting everything on hold, we will be spending the next few weeks individually learning new material for our set and attempting rehearsals 'together' using video conference technology. You can still get in touch with us if you have an event planned for the Summer or beyond, which you'd like us to attend. We hope to be back performing soon, spreading joy, fun and friendship through our uplifting tunes!
MARCH 2020
Our Steel Pan Duo continues to grow and increase in popularity as more enquiries and repeat bookings come flooding in! With Spring nearly upon us and two new songs under our belt, taking our total set time up to 1 hour, it feels like the perfect time to start busking again. You'll be able to hear us in Arundel (weather depending) on Friday afternoons throughout the month, as we polish up our performance for our first wedding of the year in early April. We're continually seeking out new tunes to learn and places to perform, so why not get in touch with some suggestions? We'd love to hear from you!
FEBRUARY 2020
As Valentines cards and heart shaped treats once again fill the supermarket shelves and love is seemingly all around, we are embracing the celebrations by learning lots of new tunes that will be perfect for the busy wedding season! With 'A whole new world' almost memorised, we shift our attentions to a Bruno Mars Medley which features the hit singles 'Nothing on you' and 'Marry You'.
Our social media profiles are continuing to grow and we are hoping to post a new clip every month, so keep your eyes peeled!

JANUARY 2020
With the Christmas decs now safely stored away for another year and traditional carols laying dormant in our memories, we are looking forward with great excitement to see what 2020 has in store! With 12 new songs lined up to add to our set, our first workshop and an ever-increasing number of enquiries, we get the feeling that it's going to be another fabulously busy year for us! Thank you to everyone who has supported us on our journey so far and may we take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year.
